How do I place an order on

Ordering on is easy and safe. Once you have found the item you would like to purchase, click on the “Add to Bag” button to place it in your Shopping Bag. Follow the directions through the checkout process to complete your order. 

Your order will not be placed until the very end of the checkout process when you will be asked for your credit card information.

Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?

JHerwitt is currently registered to collect sales tax only in California state. Sales tax will be automatically applied to your order based on local sales tax laws and shipping destination. 

Can I include a personalized gift message with my purchase?

Yes, you will be given the opportunity to create a personalized message at checkout. The message, enclosed in a white envelope, will arrive with your gift package. The package will not have any other additional form identifying you as the giver. For this reason, we encourage you to at least enter your name on the gift message. 

JHerwitt invites you to express yourself with a customized gift message to accompany your purchase. Please refrain from using objectionable words, phrases and obscenities in your message. Order Processing

- All orders are processed within 3-7 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
- If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping Confirmation & Order Tracking

- You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

How can I make returns?

What products are eligible for returns?

Products are accepted for credit in the U.S. within 7 days of purchase. All items must be in perfect saleable condition, with the sales receipt. Exclusions apply, please note:

  • Items will be accepted for return within 7 days of purchase.
  • Items must be accompanied by all original packaging for a refund. Including jewelry boxes and pouches.
  • Personalized, altered, or engraved items are not eligible for return.
What will my refund look like?

Credit or charge card purchases will receive a credit to the original cardholder’s account on which the purchase was made. If a credit or charge card has been used to make this purchase, the terms and conditions in the agreement between the cardholder and the issuer of that credit card shall also apply. 

Will my purchase arrive gift-wrapped?

All purchases arrive in a JHerwitt jewelry box. At the checkout process you will have the option of writing a gift message for each item in your order which will arrive with your gift package, enclosed in a envelope. If you choose not to write a gift message, one blank card per recipient will be included in your order.

Are JHerwitt products insured when shipped?

JHerwitt is responsible for orders until the package is delivered to the customer.  If the package goes missing, JHerwitt may choose to open an investigation with the carrier to determine the responsible party. Please contact Client Care if your order details indicate the package has been delivered but nothing was received.

How can I make returns without a receipt?

JHerwitt does not issue refunds without a sales receipt. Items are accepted for credit in the U.S. if returned in saleable condition within 7 days, accompanied by a sales receipt. Some exclusions may apply. Items must be returned in its original packaging (including seal stickers) and in saleable condition. Please note that items that are personalized with engraving, etching, embossing and other services may not be returned or exchanged.

Care & Repair FAQ

How do I care for my JHerrwitt jewelry?

All JHerwitt jewelry is handcrafted in 14-karat gold. Jewelry should always be the last item to be put on and the first to be removed. Per the experts at the GIA, to best preserve gold, limit exposure to chemicals including everyday substances like hairspray, lotion, perfume and other cosmetics.

We recommend that you remove all inlay pieces before showering, swimming, and exercising to minimize the risk in discoloration. Moisturizers, perfumes and any other products can also have an effect on the color over time. Inlay cannot be placed in an ultrasonic cleaner or any other type of jewelry cleaner. Store separately from other jewelry, protecting in your jewelry box or pouch to prevent chipping or scratching. How should I store and organize my jewelry?

It is important to properly store jewelry when traveling, moving or at home in between uses. Keep jewelry in a storage box away from the elements whenever possible and separated to prevent pieces from becoming tangled or disarranged.

Storing Jewelry at Home

If your jewelry is used frequently, avoid excessive exposure to air and store it in a tarnish-proof cloth, such as a flannel pouch or a storage box. Good storage boxes are lined with tarnish-proof fabric and have a separate space for each individual piece.

Packing Jewelry When Traveling

It is important to keep jewelry organized and protected while traveling. When traveling with several pieces, we recommend storing items in a box or bag with separate compartments. This will protect jewelry from becoming tangled or disarranged. Make sure items are away from clothing to prevent snags. Wear or carry any valuable pieces with you in case your luggage is lost. .

Packing Jewelry for a Move

When moving, keep all items in their permanent storage location. If you are using a jewelry box, wrap and package individual pieces and place back in the box. Once all pieces have been protected and stored, secure your jewelry box with moving materials, like you would with any other piece of furniture.

Can your JHerwitt jewelry get wet?

While most of your JHerwitt jewelry can get wet with little to no impact, we recommend removing all JHerwitt jewelry before engaging in the following activities:

  • Household and outdoor chores
  • Showering, bathing or swimming in pools, hot tubs, hot springs and the ocean
  • Using lotion, hair products, fragrances and other cosmetics
  • Exercising at the gym or during contact sports
  • Preparing meals.
